Pictorial Diary
This diary is a record of our travels around the southern half of Western Australia. We were contracted by the Southern Province Projects Group to visit 31 country towns and provide Internet awareness raising workshops with a focus on the benefits for country people. The project was funded by the Department of Communication & the Arts through its "Networking the Nation" program.
We travelled about the countryside in our motorhome carrying 10 laptop computers and all the ancillary equipment needed for our presentations and for the live hands-on Internet sessions.
The project participants were also supported by the CountrySite website that we created specially to help new Internet users in country and rural areas.
Thanks to all the great people we have met for making our job so enjoyable.
